Christmas Message

Since we are less than two weeks away from Christmas, I decided to finish the year with a Holiday look on my blog. You know, we all seem to get so busy in December that we find it hard to get in the spirit of the season. I’m talking about Christmas here, not Hannukah, not Kwanza, not any other particular event that might happen to be in December.

For me, it’s Christmas. I am now, and always have been  a big fan of this holiday. I enjoy listening to carols on the radio, in the shops, when I’m on terminal hold on the phone. Wherever the music comes from, I like it. (Although, I must say, I’m not crazy about  Mariah Carey covering any Christmas Carol. She has a special way of making every song she sings sound like every other song she sings.) Brenda Lee, Bing Crosby, Burl Ives and Manheim Steamroller will do nicely for me.

This Christmas is a particularly busy one for me. If the real estate market is soft, no one told North Carolina. I have several people that I am currently helping find a new home, and several others that I am helping to sell the home they currently have. People are still looking for their next home. Interest rates are low and holding, and I believe folks are trying to capitalize on that. The Lake Norman area around Mooresville, Cornelius, and Huntersville continues to provide good inventory levels for buyers. New construction is still happening, and previously-owned homes are in good supply.

So when you get your Christmas shopping done and the gifts wrapped, and the cookies are all baked, give me a call at 704-578-4778 and we can begin looking for your new home. Or email me at fpark@c21hecht.com. Meanwhile, I wish you all a very merry Christmas!
